Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge

Since we became a chartered member of Rotary International in October 1988, we have used our contacts, our enthusiasm and our energy to benefit communities around the Chew Valley and local area.  As many of our members have busy lives already, we use the internet to keep in touch, share ideas, and offer support, so if you can’t attend a meeting, it doesn’t matter, you can still keep in touch.
We like to have fun and enjoy a good meal too, which is why we are based at the Carpenters Arms, Stanton Drew, where we meet most Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm.  If you would like to join us, or you know someone who may be interested then please contact: Tony Quinn  email: tonyq@btinternet.com    Or you can find out more about us by browsing our main site.   We are always very happy to see potential new members.

Water Survival Box

A ROTARY HUMANITARIAN AID PROJECT

The Water Survival Box is the initiative of the Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge, England. It arose following six months of continuous work after the 2004 tsunami in the Indian Ocean during which 3,200 Aquaboxes boxes were packed with items donated by members of the public. That operation was reviewed at the end of the 6 months and a number of ways in which it could (and should) be stream-lined were identified.
